Aloe as a source of health and beauty

In almost every house you can find a green flower with small thorns standing on the windowsill - this is aloe. Such a familiar flower for all of us, but not every one of us knows about its beneficial properties and how to use them. First of all, the flower needs proper processing. In order to properly carry out this procedure, aloe should not be watered for 2 weeks. Exceptionally large leaves that have been cut near the base of the flower are suitable for use. After that, the leaves are allowed to rest for a couple of weeks. In order for essential oils and beneficial properties to accumulate in this plant, its age must be more than two years. It is the essential oils contained in aloe that give the plant medicinal properties.

Healing Elixir

Being in the refrigerator, the leaves of the flower still retain their beneficial properties, due to the formation of certain substances in them, which have the ability to give the body protective functions and boost immunity. To prepare a healing elixir, you will need to rinse the leaves and chop them into small pieces. After that, you need to squeeze the juice. Next, you need to strain 100 g of juice, add 300 g of honey, 500 g of walnuts and a little lemon juice. Then mix everything thoroughly and take 1 teaspoon three times a day, about half an hour before meals. In this case, the storage location should not let in sunlight.

Aloe extract

Take the leaves of the plant and cut in the above way, then pour purified water in such a way that the proportion is 1:5. Next, you need to let this mixture brew. The next step should be boiling this tincture. It is recommended to use this extract for diseases of the teeth, gums and throat. Also, this extract is used as a prevention of wrinkles.

Aloe cosmetic mask

The frozen product can be used for cosmetic masks. This combination is suitable for different skin types: for dry, oily, and mixed types. To get a cosmetic mask for dry skin, you will need to combine aloe with olive oil. If you have an oily skin type, then the best way would be to dilute aloe and alcohol in a ratio that corresponds to 1: 4 and wipe your face with the already obtained mixture.

Aloe in folk medicine

It should also be noted that the leaves of this plant are used in folk medicine as a remedy for various diseases. But it must be borne in mind that there are some contraindications. If you suffer from chronic diseases, then the use of aloe juice is certainly prohibited, but this only applies to taking the product orally, and there is simply no restriction for superficial use, the only exception is an allergic reaction.
