How to choose a universal lipstick?

Eyes and lips are the two most important components on a woman's face. Men, when they look at your face, immediately look at your eyes, and then at your lips. It is quite easy to emphasize the depth and brightness of the eyes. Sometimes just one mascara is enough, but with lips everything is much more complicated.

First of all, when choosing a lipstick, we must determine what kind of care effect is needed. After all, the skin of the lips is delicate and quite demanding. For very dry lips, the emphasis should be on the high content of oils in the lipstick. Manufacturers use mainly coconut, castor, olive and mineral oils. However, some brands of decorative cosmetics pay more attention to care and add various vitamins and exfoliating particles to lipsticks. It helps keep your lips looking youthful and plump.  

There are several types of lipsticks: matte, satin and persistent. Matte lipsticks contain a large amount of wax and powder in the composition. They make the lips visually flat, so they are mainly suitable for girls with full lips and are not at all recommended for thin ones. If you need the effect of lip augmentation, then it is better to use satin lipstick. In its composition, it has more oils than matte lipstick, so it perfectly moisturizes the skin of the lips, smoothes it and adds volume with shine. Persistent lipsticks stay on the lips for a very long time and do not roll anywhere, as it contains water-repellent substances. After applying it, you should wait a bit for it to “grab”. It usually takes a couple of minutes to fix and you can walk all day and not worry about your lips.  

But choosing a lipstick for yourself by texture is only half the battle. After all, color matters a lot. Finding the right shade is not as easy as it seems, however, it is quite real.

There are several basic rules for choosing lipstick by color:

1. Always test the color either immediately on your lips, and only then buy lipstick, or on your fingertips. There the skin is closest in color to our lips. This will help to avoid disappointment in the discrepancy between the color from the tube and the color on the lips.

2. Warm-colored lipsticks turn teeth yellow. If you cannot boast of the whiteness of your teeth, you should pay attention to cold colors.

3. Matte lipsticks add age. Glitter lipsticks, on the other hand, can freshen up your look and make it more lively.
