The subtleties of make-up: how to make a good make-up?

Cosmetics - the invention is by no means the most recent decades. It has been known since ancient times. But, changing, cosmetics in the life of every woman plays a special role. It is not surprising, because with the help of well-chosen cosmetics and skillful makeup, you can, as if by magic, turn from an ordinary Cinderella into a prom queen. We will consider further how makeup will help to remove defects, emphasize dignity, give expressiveness and a special charm to the face.

There are general rules.

1. Any make-up, both daytime and evening, should be applied only to well-cleansed skin. This also includes the fact that you should never leave makeup unwashed overnight. Immediately upon arrival at home, carefully remove makeup, do not leave it for a long time! Better then make a new one.

2. If it is not possible to wash your face, remove makeup with suitable wet wipes.

3. Before applying decorative cosmetics, clean skin must certainly be moistened with a regular cream and apply a foundation, then powder.

4. You can not powder the whole face and especially the neck! Lightly powder only the nose and chin.

5. By the way, loose powder is considered good. The powder itself should be applied with a special brush, not with a sponge. So the tone falls more evenly and imperceptibly. I also apply compact powder with a brush.

6. If you use foundation, mix it with your regular face cream in a 1:1 ratio.

7. Always follow a simple rule - focus on one thing. It can be eyes, lips or cheekbones. Choose one thing that you want to highlight especially brightly, otherwise there will be a risk of seeming unnatural and vulgar.

Eye makeup is the most popular and complicated at the same time.

It is a delusion to think that the more you apply mascara (apply shadows in 20 layers, make eyeliner fatter), the more expressive your eyes will be.

1. The expressiveness of the eyes and the charm of the look are often achieved by properly shaped eyebrows. Even if you prefer to leave the eyebrow wide, it should still have a shape. Beautifully shaping eyebrows for the first time (or after a long break) is best in the salon. In the future, you can maintain the form itself. Use tweezers to remove excess hairs on the bridge of the nose and under the eyebrow itself so that they do not “lean” on the eyes.

2. Get a special transparent mascara. Advantages: it can be used separately for eyelash care and even left overnight, it serves as a good base for regular mascara. To make the eyelashes look more voluminous after any mascara, first apply a transparent one, lightly powder the eyelashes with powder, then paint with regular mascara.

3. When making up light eyes, light shadows will look good. Choose lighter pencils and eyeliners, especially for daytime make-up, for example, light brown, light green, silver, etc. Ink is brown. For dark eyes, mascara is only black. Although, brown eyes can also be shaded very well with rich blue mascara. Shadows should be a couple of tones deeper and brighter.

4. If you want to correct the shape of the eyes and give them a special expressiveness, draw arrows with eyeliner. In my opinion, the main thing is to get used to the eyeliner! For daytime makeup, make the arrows thinner, for the evening, you can outline your eyes with a thicker line. But the arrows drawn with a pencil look more natural and give the look depth.

5. Want to achieve a more natural look? When applying shadows, use not one, but several similar options (2-3 is enough). Rule: the darker color should be closer to the eyelashes, the higher, the lighter. Avoid abrupt transitions. Apply a lighter tone, slightly capturing the previous one and lightly blend with an eyeshadow brush.

When making up lips, as a rule, they use a contour pencil and lipstick.

1. Before applying cosmetics, exfoliate the skin of the lips with a soft toothbrush and moisturize with a hygienic balm.

2. Next, you can apply a drop of foundation. It will fill in the existing bumps, and the lipstick will last longer. Do not forget to remove excess tonal base with a napkin, slightly wetting your lips.

3. Lip pencils correct their shape. The pencil should be matched to the tone of the lipstick or a little lighter. If you want to increase the volume of the lips, circle the contour with a pencil slightly protruding beyond the natural line of the lips. If you wish, on the contrary, reduce the volume of large lips, carefully draw a contour inside.

4. Pencil and lipstick in light shades will give the desired volume, but matte lipsticks in dark colors will visually reduce the lips.

5. Professionals only apply lipstick with a brush. This is much more convenient and helps to apply lipstick in a more even layer. Let the lipstick soak in a little and repeat another layer, after lightly powdering the lips.

6. Finally, fix the result with a special lip gloss. You will feel the difference yourself. Your lips will become more voluminous and embossed. This makeup will last longer.

Blush is another important item in any makeup bag. With their help, you can correct the shape of the face, refresh the color of the skin. Blush is applied in two stages. Stage one - we correct the shape of the face, if the face is oval (ideal shape) - we emphasize. Stage two - refresh the skin, improve complexion.

I will not go into correcting the shape of the face - this is a topic for a separate article. I can only say that there are some general rules for applying blush so that the makeup looks bright and at the same time as natural as possible.

1. Correctly apply blush like this. It is necessary to draw in the cheeks and, starting from the most prominent points, draw a brush to the temple. Try not to make sharp straight lines in one stroke. The line should be smooth and rounded.

2. Makeup artists often resort to such a trick: a drop of blush is applied to the tip of the nose, chin and forehead line, where hair growth begins. This will create the effect of freshness and beautifully shape the face. Blush for this are selected very gentle and light colors.

3. Avoid blush on the entire cheek, as well as on the area under the cheekbones.

4. If you have a blush or powder with a shimmering effect, apply them to the highest point of the cheekbones - this is near the temporal zone.

5. Apply dry blush in two steps. First, apply a darker tone, then put lighter ones on top, slightly going beyond the contour of the first.

6. The color of the blush should be selected based on the color type of the skin, but soft pink blush of warm tones is still considered universal. Because this is what a healthy and natural blush looks like. In addition to pink, blush of peach and coral shades will also be good, the intensity of which should be the brighter, the darker the skin. Just do not choose too caustic and aggressive, the best option is warm tones.

Now you know how to enhance beauty with professional makeup.
