Sometimes not the whole model is pleated, but only the lower part or side skirt insert. Pleated skirts, like leather ones, are completely devoid of decor.

But a lot of decor was awarded to skirts with slits and a smell. Rhinestones, embroidery, ruffles, and fringe turned out to be in the trend.
